A heart-shaped island, redesigned
W Maldives sits on Fesdu Island in North Ari Atoll, a 25-minute seaplane ride from Malé. The resort reopened in March 2025 after a full redesign, and its heart-shaped outline is easiest to trace from the seaplane on the way in.
Seventy-seven villas run from beachfront pavilions to two-bedroom villas over the water, each with its own plunge pool. A resident Music Curator sets the tone by day and by night, while the house reef sits close enough to the beach for guests to swim out without a boat.
