Sofitel Mauritius L'Impérial Resort & Spa

Nine hectares of garden run down to a long white beach at Wolmar, with Trois Mamelles rising behind and five restaurants scattered along the shore.

A west-coast garden resort at Wolmar

Sofitel Mauritius L'Impérial Resort & Spa sits on nine hectares at Wolmar, just south of Flic en Flac on the island's sheltered west coast. French elegance meets East Asian-inspired architecture across low pavilions and gardens that run straight to a long stretch of white sand, with the jagged silhouette of Trois Mamelles rising inland.

Five restaurants and three bars are spread along the beach and poolside, from a teppanyaki grill to a Chinese and Japanese dining room over the water. A Sofitel Spa built around its own courtyard pool, two swimming pools including a large family pool and an adults-only infinity pool, and a Technogym fitness centre in a timber pavilion round out a resort built for both families and couples.
