Three islands, one iconic beach
Six Senses Kanuhura sits in Lhaviyani Atoll, roughly forty minutes by seaplane from Malé, or a shorter domestic flight followed by a fifteen-minute speedboat transfer. The main island holds one of the Maldives' largest beaches, curling around a lagoon that shifts colour through the day. Two further islands lie just offshore: Jehunuhura, home to a private lunch spot beneath the palms, and Masleggihuraa, left entirely wild for castaway picnics.
Eighty-five villas run from garden-set beach retreats to overwater pool villas on stilts, with one, two and three-bedroom layouts for families and larger groups. An orchid nursery raising more than ten thousand plants, including a rare species unique to the island, sits alongside the resort's own water bottling plant and organic garden.
