Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa sits on its own peninsula at Blue Bay, on the quiet south-east coast of Mauritius. Three beaches wrap around the grounds, and the water beyond them belongs to the Blue Bay Marine Park, one of the island's richest stretches of reef.
It is the only Beachcomber address on the south coast, and it leans into that setting: a sports centre, a nine-hole pitch and putt course, and a boathouse for sailing and snorkelling sit alongside six restaurants, a garden spa in thatched cabins, and a new adults-only wing called Shandrani for 2.
