Seasense sits on Palmar beach, on the same run of sand as Belle Mare, on Mauritius' east coast. Renovated throughout in 2024, the hotel keeps to two low storeys set in tropical gardens, with the lagoon a short walk from every room. It is an adults-only address, built for couples who want quiet without formality.
Sixty-three rooms and suites are arranged around three restaurants, a wine cellar holding over a thousand bottles, and SeaSpa, the resort's spa and fitness pavilion. A heated infinity pool runs along the garden above the beach, and the boathouse arranges snorkelling and diving out over the reef.
