Two islands, one playground
Niyama Private Islands Maldives occupies two adjoining islands in Dhaalu Atoll, joined by a jetty and given two distinct characters: Chill for quiet mornings by the infinity pool, Play for the energy of a live surf break on the doorstep. Guests arrive by seaplane from Velana International Airport, with a private lounge for the wait before the flight over the atoll.
134 villas and pavilions, newly refurbished, run from a beachfront one-bedroom to The Crescent, a cluster of five overwater villas reached by its own boardwalk. Ten dining venues take the setting further, among them a table set beneath the lagoon and a dining room half a kilometre out to sea.
