A small island, quietly held
Milaidhoo sits alone on its own reef in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve 35 minutes by seaplane from Malé. The island measures barely 300 by 180 metres, so nothing is far from the sand, and fifty villas and residences are spaced to keep each one private.
Thatched roofs, handcrafted furnishings and local art nod to Maldivian heritage without leaning on it too hard. A boat-shaped restaurant moored in the lagoon, an overwater spa and a protected house reef a few strokes from every villa give guests reason to barely leave the island at all.
