Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa occupies a stretch of Wolmar Beach on Mauritius' west coast, a short drive from Flic en Flac and Tamarin. Every one of its 64 villas has its own heated pool, and the view from the beachfront categories runs straight across the lagoon to the silhouette of Le Morne.
The resort's four restaurants move from Mauritian and Mediterranean cooking at Cassine to teppanyaki at Haiku and a beach barbecue at Beach House Grill, while the spa runs an authentic Ayurvedic programme guided by a resident doctor. Children have their own Peter Pan Kids Club, and a private jetty gives the sunset its own stage.
