A modernist flagship on the bay
LUX* Grand Baie Resort & Residences sits directly on the beach at Grand Baie, on Mauritius' north coast. Opened in 2021 as the group's flagship, its low, thatch-topped pavilions and reflecting pools were designed with Kelly Hoppen, in a palette of raw plaster, timber and stone.
Eighty-six suites and eight villas sit within the main resort; twenty-four two-bedroom residences stand across the road, reached by a private skywalk. Four restaurants, a rooftop pool bar and an indoor-outdoor spa fill the rest of the grounds.
