A quiet island at the edge of the atoll
Kagi Maldives sits at the northern tip of North Malé Atoll, a fifteen-minute seaplane flight or an hour by speedboat from Velana International Airport. The island covers forty-two thousand square metres, ringed by six hundred and ninety-one metres of beach and a house reef that runs the full way around it.
Fifty villas, split across four categories, sit along the sand or out over the lagoon on Zen-inspired timber decks, each with its own plunge pool. Four restaurants, a dive centre on the edge of the reef, and Baani Spa's ring of overwater treatment rooms fill the rest of the island.
