One island, entirely its own
Denis lies 95km north of Mahé, a 30-minute flight from a different pace of life entirely. The island is just 375 acres, and none of it is off-limits: guests share its paths with giant tortoises, rare endemic birds and a working farm that supplies most of what lands on the table.
There is no signal here and no in-room television, only 23 free-standing cottages and a single beach villa, scattered through casuarina and coconut palm within reach of the sand. In October 2025, Denis became the only locally-owned hotel brand in the world to hold two MICHELIN Keys.

There is no spa building on Denis; treatments come to your cottage or an open-air pavilion under the casuarina trees, using oils and scrubs made in Seychelles.
The Farm
Cattle, goats, pigs and fowl a few hundred metres from the kitchen supply most of the island's dairy, eggs, pork and produce; children can collect eggs each morning.
Sport Fishing
The Drop-Off, where the Mahé plateau falls to 2,000m, lies 15 minutes offshore. Trolling, bottom-fishing and shore fly-fishing are all catch-and-release for billfish.
Conservation & Nature Walks
Home to the Green Islands Foundation, Denis is the only place to see the Seychelles fody, magpie robin, paradise flycatcher and warbler on a single morning walk.
