Constance Lemuria

The Seychelles' only 18-hole championship golf course, a private turtle sanctuary, and the walk to Anse Georgette, all inside one 101-hectare estate on Praslin.

A private estate on Praslin's northern shore

Constance Lemuria sits across 101 hectares on the northwest tip of Praslin, its suites and villas scattered along two beaches barely 15 metres from the water. Opened in 1999 and rebuilt in 2016, the resort is built low into the granite and forest rather than over it, so the boulders, palms and the odd sheath-tailed bat stay part of the view.

The estate's centrepiece is the Seychelles' only 18-hole championship golf course, its fairways running to the edge of the trees between the two Anse Kerlan beaches. Guests can walk the course to reach Anse Georgette, rated among the world's most beautiful beaches, or spend the evening with the resort's own turtle sanctuary, where hawksbills have nested on Grand Anse Kerlan for as long as anyone at Lemuria can remember.
