A natural sanctuary, freshly opened
Constance Le Chaland sits on Mauritius' wild south-east coast, a few minutes from Blue Bay Marine Park and its coral gardens. The resort took on the Constance name in February 2026, under a management agreement with the Currimjee Group, becoming the group's fifth address on the island. Low, stone-clad pavilions sit among indigenous coastal forest, with paths leading out to a beach that stays quiet even in high season.
Inside, the design leans on natural materials and open sightlines rather than ornament: raised firepits, timber screens, and gardens that run straight to the sand. Three restaurants and five bars cover the day, from an open-air grill to a tasting room built for slow dinners, while the spa's hammam and open-air massage pavilions sit within the same quiet grounds.
