Baraza Resort & Spa sits on Bwejuu-Paje, on Zanzibar's south-east coast, one of four sister properties in The Zanzibar Collection. Thirty villas are arranged around dramatic Swahili-Arabic arches, hand-carved cement screens and Baraza benches, the low stone seats that give the resort its name.
A private dive centre, first established on this coastline twenty-five years ago, and a spa built around a Sultan's Bath for two keep guests occupied between trips to the beach.
